An experienced criminal defense attorney, J. Ashton Wray, Jr. began the practice of law in 1970, and has spent 4 decades aggressively defending the rights of his clients. Born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, Ashton earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond, and law degree from The T.C Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. His years of trial experience have placed him in the top of his field.
Ashton is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association, the Hampton Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Specializing in trial work, Ashton is qualified to practice in both State and Federal Courts, and has argued cases before the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court.
